Futures Thinking Master Class
October 15, 2025 Taipei, Taiwan
Course Overview
This course focuses on one of the most transformative methods in futures studies — Causal Layered Analysis (CLA). Through real-world cases from policy, organizational, educational, and healthcare contexts, you will learn to combine external environmental scanning with deep exploration of internal beliefs, unlocking strategic foresight and the ability to design meaningful futures.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Master CLA’s four layers — move from surface issues to deep metaphors, deconstruct and reframe problems, and strengthen your narrative and insight as a leader.
• Apply CLA to real challenges — at individual, organizational, or policy levels, generating creative, actionable, and future-oriented strategies.
• Enhance your foresight toolkit — integrate CLA with the Six Pillars of Futures Studies to boost strategic agility in uncertain environments.
• Learn from real-world cases — explore how CLA has driven transformation in sustainable governance, education, and healthcare, and reflect on its impact on your own leadership.
